She offers direct clinical care to children, adolescents, and adults. She effectively treats individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, and other mental health issues exacerbated by trauma. Passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults, Ashley wants you to feel seen, heard, and supported. She earned her Master’s of Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Early in her career, she worked inpatient psychiatric hospital, gaining experience with clients of all ages and a wide range of clinical concerns while providing crisis intervention. She has now grown into robust private practice focusing her strengths on children to young adults.
Ashley's approach is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. She has experience providing individual therapy for clients ages 4 through 30 and leading therapeutic groups for adolescents. She draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral interventions, mindfulness, and other techniques. Above all, she values authenticity, empathy, and connection, and is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space where every client feels respected, supported, and empowered. Stephanie has been formally trained with 6 years of college and graduate studies focused in psychology, assessment, and counseling. She obtained her Master's degree from Sam Houston State University with honors in Counseling. She has over 20 years of experience preforming formal evaluation, psychological/psychometric testing, diagnosing, psychopharmacology, behavioral health genetic testing for supplementation, and forensic evaluations and testifying. She was certified by the National Board of Forensic Evaluators as a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE) and is experienced as an Expert Witness. She also provides mental health assessment for formal diagnosis to children, adolescents, and adults to improve treatment planning in therapy, help physicians with medication management, or help with school, college, or work accommodations.

Eclectic and realistic, Sheena brings years of counseling experience to The Prevail Team. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in Counseling. Her counseling work includes using evidence-based approaches to ultimately lead to measurable results. She uses a "semi-directive" therapy style which still honors the autonomy of each individual but helps guide them to healthy coping skills and healing. She enjoys helping older teens, adults, and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. She is also passionate in providing support and education to caretakers and loved ones of individuals on the Autism Spectrum. She holds a certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and is also a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and an ordained Minister. Christian counseling can be incorporated into therapy work upon request.
